Who Is ‘Megan Luscombe’?

I'm in my late 30s, a dedicated coffee drinker, an avid book reader, deeply passionate about music, and perhaps a bit too fond of re-watching the same movies/TV shows again (and again).

I'm a career-oriented, carb-loving, cocktail-savouring homebody who lives on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula with my wife, Gwen, and our toddler.

As a coach, I bring over a decade of experience to the table, and I'm thoroughly committed to my career—I'm not only certified but also have studied in psychology from my university days.

Looking for something a bit more… spicy?
I get it.

I grew up as an only child, raised by a Nan who had a dozen children of her own—so, you could say I got a firsthand look at a full house. My upbringing was as varied as Melbourne’s weather: mostly unpredictable but occasionally wonderful.

While my Pa was present, he wasn’t involved in raising me (classic patriarchy). Since I was 18, I've worked with therapists, coaches, and psychologists to navigate my life’s complexities. And believe me, it's been quite the ride.

What have I endured?

I've left an abusive relationship, grieved the loss of loved ones, was preyed upon by a music producer at 15, walked away from religion, ended friendships and had friends end them with me, divorced by 25, embraced my queer identity, launched a business without any prior experience, married the love of my life (again!), and went through the gruelling process of IVF before finally having our wonderful child.

And that's just scratching the surface.

I might save the rest for a book one day (publishers, take note!).

I share these details not just to tell my story, but to underline how these experiences shape the empathy and understanding I bring to my coaching.

I hope that by opening up about my journey, you’ll feel comfortable and safe sharing your own stories with me as we work together.

Your coach,

Megan
